Are you passionate about footwear, thrive in a sales-driven environment, and have strong connections in the retail industry? We are looking for a dynamic, motivated Sales Representative to join our team and help grow the presence of Spring Footwear across the New England region.

The Sales Representative must reside within the assigned New England Territory and will be responsible for driving footwear sales and ensuring profitable growth across all Spring Footwear brands. This role focuses on managing and expanding relationships with assigned accounts throughout the region: CT, MA, ME, NH, Upstate NY, RI, and VT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel regularly throughout New England to represent and sell Spring Footwear collections to independent retailers.
  • Maximize sales, manage inventory flow, and boost sell-through performance.
  • Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with store owners and buyers.
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop targeted, territory-specific strategies.
  • Analyze key retail financials and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Open new accounts and maintain a strong retention rate among existing clients.
  • Train retail staff on brand vision, product features, and merchandising best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director for strategic planning and performance reporting.

 

Requirements

  • Proven success in sales within the footwear or fashion industry—independent rep experience strongly preferred.
  • Established network of retail buyers and decision-makers in the New England market.
  • Proficient in analyzing retail metrics (e.g., turn, WOS, sell-through) to guide decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial “hunter” mindset with strong self-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; high emotional intelligence (EQ).
  • Highly organized, accountable, and comfortable with frequent travel.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of using data to drive strategy.
